A Stronger Climber

Subscription Terms

The short version

1 What you are paying for

The free tier gives you the measuring tools — timers, finger tests, calendar, workouts, session logging and your CSI chart. It needs no card and does not expire.

Premium adds the interpreting layer: progress trends, AI coaching on your own data, the phase builder (periodised blocks — capacity, build, peak, taper, maintain, recover — with progression and deloads planned in), the week builder, custom timers and the full exercise library. Premium+ is Premium plus every training programme in the library, for twelve months.

Premium is training software for healthy athletes. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose, and it is not a substitute for individual clinical advice. Anything involving an injury is a consultation with a physiotherapist — a separate service, on separate terms.

2 The free tier, and the 14-day trial

The free tier costs nothing, needs no card and does not run out. You can use it for as long as you like, and nothing in these terms applies to it because there is nothing to pay and nothing to cancel.

Premium begins with a 14-day free trial. A payment card is required to start it, but nothing is charged on the day you start. If you do nothing, the trial becomes a paid monthly subscription when it ends, at the price shown to you before you began. Cancel before that date and you pay nothing at all.

The agreement is made when the trial begins, not when the first payment is taken. That matters for your right of withdrawal — see section 5 — because the 14 days run from that day and therefore alongside the trial itself.

One trial per person. Eligibility is checked from your email address when you start. If you have had one before, you can still subscribe — the first payment is simply taken straight away, and you are told so before you confirm.

3 The two plans, and payment

Premium is a monthly subscription. After the trial, the price is charged automatically at the start of each month until you cancel.

Premium+ is a single payment for twelve months. It is not a subscription: it does not renew, no card is kept for a future charge, and when the twelve months are up your access simply ends. If you want another twelve months you buy them deliberately.

Buying a second term does not cost you the days you have left. If you buy again while a term is still running, the new twelve months are added to the end of the one you already hold rather than starting today — so a term bought with thirty days remaining gives you thirty days plus a full year, not a year in total. The same applies if you hold Premium monthly and buy Premium+: the month you have already paid for is honoured first, your monthly is paused rather than cancelled, and it picks up again by itself when Premium+ ends.

Prices are shown at checkout before you confirm. All prices include VAT. Payment is handled by Stripe — we never see or store your card number — and access begins as soon as the payment succeeds.

We will tell you by email at least 30 days before any price change. If you do not want to continue at the new price, you can cancel before it takes effect.

4 Cancelling

Premium. Cancel at any time from inside the app: open the Menu and choose Manage subscription. That opens the billing portal, where you can also change your card or see past invoices. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for — you keep Premium until then and you are not charged again. There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee, and you do not need to contact us first. Cancel during the trial and you are never charged at all.

If the cancel button ever fails to work, email support@astrongerclimber.com and we will cancel it for you.

Premium+. There is nothing to cancel, because there is no renewal and no further payment — it ends by itself after twelve months. Within the first 14 days you can withdraw and have everything back (section 5). After six months, if your circumstances change, you can ask us to end it early and we will refund the whole months you have not used. That goes beyond what the law requires of a fixed-term agreement; we offer it because twelve months is a long time and circumstances change.

Your training data is not deleted when you cancel. Your account reverts to the free tier and your history stays intact, so resubscribing later picks up where you left off. If you want your data erased, that is a separate request — see the privacy policy — and we act on it within 30 days.

5 Your right to withdraw (fortrydelsesret)

As a consumer you have a 14-day right of withdrawal you have by law when you subscribe online, under the Danish forbrugeraftalelov. You do not have to give a reason.

The free trial is in addition to this right, not instead of it. Fourteen days free is something we offer and could change; the right of withdrawal is the law, and it cannot be set aside by our terms.

The 14 days run from the day the agreement is made.

For Premium that is the day your trial begins, not the day of the first payment — so the withdrawal period runs alongside the trial. Nothing has been charged during it, so withdrawing and simply cancelling come to the same thing: you pay nothing either way.

For Premium+ it is the day you buy, because that is when you pay. Withdraw within those 14 days and the full €249 comes back.

How to withdraw. The quickest way is the withdrawal page — it ends the subscription straight away and emails you a receipt. You can also tell us before the 14 days are up by any clear statement, for instance by email to support@astrongerclimber.com — writing "I withdraw from my subscription" is enough. You may also use the standard withdrawal form below. We will confirm we have received it.

What happens then. We refund everything you have paid, within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal, using the same payment method you used. No deduction for the days you had access, and no reason needed.

That is more than the law requires. We could charge a proportionate amount for the part you actually used before withdrawing. We do not — on any plan. Fourteen days, everything back, whether you used it or not. This is our own promise rather than a legal obligation, and we will honour it.

Otherwise, after the 14 days. The right of withdrawal has lapsed.

On Premium, payments already taken are not refunded, but you can cancel at any time to stop the next one and you keep Premium to the end of the period you have paid for. Renewals are not covered by the withdrawal right, so cancel before one to avoid it.

On Premium+, the twelve months are a fixed term and the payment is not refundable during the first six. From month seven onwards you can ask us to end it early and we will refund the whole months you have not used, pro rata. That is our own promise rather than a legal obligation, and we will honour it — email support@astrongerclimber.com.

The six months are counted from the day you bought, not from the day the access began. If you bought a second term while a first was still running, the wait is therefore already part-served by the time the new term starts, and the months we refund are the whole months still ahead of you.

If a payment was taken in error, or something on our side stopped you using what you paid for, email support@astrongerclimber.com and we will put it right — that is separate from withdrawal and has no deadline.

7 Where you can subscribe

Subscriptions can currently be purchased in the European Union only. The app itself works anywhere — if you subscribe within the EU and then travel, your subscription continues to work normally.

8 Your account

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. When you sign up we ask you to confirm it; we do not ask for your date of birth. Physiotherapy treatment for a younger climber is arranged directly with the clinic, with a parent or guardian involved.

You sign in with a six-digit code sent to your email address; there is no password. Keep access to that mailbox secure, and do not share your account — it is for one person, and the coaching it produces is built from one person's data.

We may suspend or close an account that is being used to abuse the service or another user. If we do, we will tell you why, and we will refund any period you have paid for but cannot use.
